Energoprojekt Hidroinzenjering has always considered environment protection as a key criterion in planning and designing of the structures within its scope of activities and made solving of the environmental problems one of its vital business and development interests. Such approach resulted in numerous environmental impact studies and detailed analyses of infrastructure, hydropower and water management structures and systems.

A series of the designs have been prepared for the purpose of solving the problems related to solid household and industrial waste disposal; sanitary protection of water sources, reservoirs and watercourses; soil pollution; expansion of open pit coal mines; etc. Decades of international experience and a number of studies showed our understanding of variety of environmental demands and solutions.
